2020-2021 USD 363 Holcomb Schools Student Enrollment/Registration.
USD 363 Holcomb Schools has completed its move to an online enrollment process. We are strongly encouraging parents and guardians to enroll/register their students from home using the online enrollment portal and a laptop or desktop computer (smart phones do not work for this). The program requires the use of either the Google Chrome browser or the Firefox browser. This is enrollment, not a pre-enrollment. You can pay any fees and school meals online during this time using RevTrak and your PowerSchool Parent account. There will be a time for parents and guardians who do not have internet/computer access to go to the individual school buildings to enroll their students using school provided computers. Those dates and times are listed below. There will no longer be a one-day, district-wide enrollment as we have done in the past.
Returning Students
If you have returning students, you should have received an email or letter with a “SnapCode” for each of your students and instructions on how to proceed. You will use this snapcode to access the enrollment/registration forms. If you did not receive this information, please check your spam or junk mail folder first, then contact your school secretary or Kristi Calkins at the district office to obtain this information and instructions on how to proceed. Any documentation required by the school will need to be provided prior to your student starting the school year.
New Students
If you have a student who is new to the district this year, please go to usd363.com. Click on Menu. Under Parents/Students, please click on 2020-2021 New Student Enrollment. Once the page opens, please click on PowerSchool New Student Enrollment 2020-2021. This will open the portal. You will then create an account and enroll your student. Please save your sign on and password as you will need it again next year. Any documentation required by the school will need to be provided prior to your student starting the school year.
For those without Computer or Internet access
If you do not have access to a computer or internet, you will need to go to your students school building during the week of August 3rd through the 7th to enroll them using school provided computers. Limited assistance will be available during these times so we strongly encourage you to complete enrollment from a home computer if at all possible. Please bring any required documentation with you. School offices/buildings will be open for enrollment as follows;
Monday, August 3rd - 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 3 pm
Tuesday, August 4th - 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 3 pm
Wednesday, August 5th - 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 3 pm
Thursday, August 6th - 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 3 pm
Friday, August 7th - 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 3 pm
Free and Reduced Meal Price Program Applications
For those who wish to fill out an application for the USDA/KSDE Free and Reduced Meal Price Program, you are strongly encouraged to have that filled out and processed by the district prior to enrolling your students. Application packets can be printed from the school website or in the online enrollment portal at the bottom of the “Agreements” page. Paper copies can be picked up at any school office or the district office. You can request a paper copy be mailed to you by contacting Kristi Calkins at kristi.calkins@usd363.com or by calling 620-765-1859. Completed applications need to be returned for processing to Kristi Calkins at the district office and can be dropped off during normal business hours, mailed to Kristi Calkins, PO Box 8, Holcomb, Ks 67851, or scanned and emailed to kristi.calkins@usd363.com. If you want us to be able to extend your qualification for the program to help cover textbook fees, a completed and signed “Consent for Disclosure” form is required and must be included with your application and be on file with Food Service or you will be required to pay full textbook fees.
Payment of Fees
All fees are due at the time of enrollment. If you need to set up payment arrangements, you will need to contact your schools secretary to do so. If paying by cash or check, meal account/Food Service program monies need to be paid separately from other school fees and can be paid at the school office or at the district office. Payments for fees and meals can also be made online using RevTrak and your PowerSchool Parent account. Cash and check payments can be made at the school buildings during their normal business hours.
If you have any questions, please contact Kristi Calkins at kristi.calkins@usd363.com or 620-765-1859 or your school secretary at the numbers listed below.
